The First Christmas Was Simple

The first Christmas was pretty simple. It's okay if yours is too!

A Holy Babe, a manger, a Promise of Eternal Life for those who follow Christ. Simple beauty. Merry Christmas to you all.

That was a beautiful message and so true. Why do we complicate it so much? Merry Christmas.

So very true! We think we need to do all of the "things". All we really need to do is remember Him and what He did for us. Thank you for the reminder my friend.
Blessings and love,
Betsy

It would be nice if everyone could get back to a more simple kind of Christmas

Merry Christmas to you too, Terra. Here we had another round of snow falling down on us last night and today - I'm glad I don't have to be out on the roads (and not expecting guests either).

Merry Christmas to you and yours. The First Christmas with Jesus in a manger must never be
forgotten. His grace is our saving grace.

And to you, Terra!

Thank you for such wishes. We do have to pause and just enjoy this period where we are all supposed to forgive and love each other.

I agree with that sentiment, Terra. My husband, my son, and I have a quiet day and watch a few movies that we plan in advance.

Merry Christmas Terra and Family: It was a first simple Christmas, I think people really lose the meaning of Christmas nowadays.
We here in the Laurent household keep it very Holy.
