Queen Elizabeth II, Rest in Peace

A life of service. Style. Devoted to family, faith, and country. I like the photos of her laughing and with her beloved corgis and horses and family. A role model I admire. R.I.P. Queen Elizabeth.

Above is Princess Elizabeth and her father riding together in the 1930s.

Above is Queen Elizabeth and her four corgis in 1969 at the train station returning from holidays at Balmoral. The first photo below is of her in South Africa and the next two are more recent photos

The Queen was one of a kind and there will never be another monarch like her. The fact that she lived and served her country for so long is amazing. I'm glad she was able to celebrate her Platinum Jubilee.

It doesn't look like the comment I left was published but I did want to let you know I came by. I don't know why I seem to be having problems commenting on some blogs.

Thank you for the beautiful tribute to The Queen. Our London family is mourning her death while hopeful that Charles will continue her example and be a good King to the country. We've been kept appraised since before her passing by our DIL's parents. We actually had a message from them before it was on the news here in the US.
She was a lovely and kind woman who ilved a life of service to her country and will be sorely missed.
Blessings,
Betsy

A beautiful lady, when she was young and as she aged. A humble leader, she was one of a kind.
RIP

I am neither a monarchist nor an anti-monarchist, but I think she did her job with dignity.
