Thanksgiving List, good things at my home

The first photo is of my son Lane and Bounce chilling out together in front of my fireplace.

Above is my friend Terry on my patio, we are enjoying an in person visit. So wonderful.

The sun catching my red smoke bush a few days ago. It is in front of my Pride of Madeira, both were planted as small plants in June 2018 in my front yard. The Madeira bush is already five feet high and wide.

This pillow case was purchased by me this month, the mice and books are so cute, I think. I already had the pillow that the decorative case fits on, and this is on one of my living room sofas, where I sit and read.

Bounce gives the mice and books pillow his seal of approval.

These are my favorite teas, which arrived in November, all are refills except the Ahmad Tea, which is new to me. Vadham, Plum Deluxe and Taylors of Harrogate all produce fabulous teas.

We sing in church, and I sing at home and while walking: Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my blog friends, world wide. Here in the USA we celebrate this on November 26 this year. Are you creating lists of things you give thanks for?

Happy Thanksgiving. We are creating 6 word stories of gratitude this month.
I like to buy tea from Larkin Tea Company. Their Larkin Special Blend is great.

I already have my gratitude list in my mind, I pray it every morning. I love your dog Bounce, he sure knows how to get comfortable. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving tomorrow.

I love your traditional fireplace! While our home has none, it still hurts my heart a bit when HGTV shows whitewash and modernize the red brick.
That pillowcase is sure endearing. My Macie Ann likes to lay her head on throw pillows, too; not so much Grace. My sis-in-law once remarked, "I wonder what position they were in while in the womb?"
Happy Thanksgiving!

Dear Terra, this is a wonderful nice post!

"Praise God from whom all blessings flow." I join this prayer! So good!!!

✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

Here in Germany we celebrated thanksgiving in October.
O yes, we always should think of all the blessings we get from our Lord!

I LOVE your dog! He is so very sweeeeeet! The pillow and your dog: great situation, also with your son in the front of the oven, chilling!

You are blessed!

Blessings and greetings to you and your family and friends from Dori from the Bavarian Forest

Terra thanks so much for visiting my blog and leaving a comment...which encouraged me to find your blog to get to know you. I think we have much in common. As you miss your Will and yet are thankful for the many years you shared, I too am a widow who misses her husband after many years of marriage. We married 49 years ago November 26th, and I have been a widow for 11 years, but I am so thankful the Lord allowed us 38 years together. I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving celebration tomorrow.

Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow! I have sung this from a small child in church. I was just singing it yesterday while taking Chloe for her afternoon walk. The neighbors probably think I'm crazy. :-)
I love the photos of Thanksgiving you have shared. Bounce definitely seems to like that new pillow cover.
Happy Thanksgiving my friend. May God bless you abundantly.

Happy Thanksgiving dearest Terra ~ I will be having a later Thanksgiving dinner. I'm fixing a turkey breast in the crockpot, a spicy-herbal butter mix spread under the skin. Sausage cornbread stuffing is ready to bake, I've got to make up the green bean casserole and mashed potatoes and I mixed up canned whole berry cranberry sauce with horseradish sauce and greek yogurt as I didn't have sour cream. I may or may not make a pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting, may just do that tomorrow.

The pillow case is cute as is Bounce. Love your fireplace. Enjoy your teas and have a great holiday month. Love & hugs ~ FlowerLady

I enjoyed your cozy pictures of your home, with your son by the beautiful fireplace, and Bounce on the couch next to that really cute pillow! I love it! Those teas sound really good. I have lots of different kinds of tea, but it seems my go-to tea every day will always be plain old Lipton. I pull out the fancy stuff when we have company who want to have a little tea party, and once in a while just for me... So nice your friend came over for a visit. And I love singing the Doxology (Praise God from Whom all Blessings FLow) I told our worship leader at church that we haven't sung that since we started back to church because we aren't taking up the offering anymore or passing the offering plate (people give when they enter the door or leave), and we always used to sing that when the ushers would bring the offerings up to the front. I miss singing it... I sing it in my heart a lot. I am glad you had a pleasant Thanksgiving. Now we start the progression toward Christmas...Advent begins tomorrow! I am ready for it to begin! Have a blessed weekend.

Happy thanksgiving - a couple of days late :) In Sweden we celebrate 1st Advent Sunday tomorrow. But like so much else, it will be different this year as right now no events with more than 8 people are allowed - including church. There will no doubt be lots of online concerts and services available, but it's not quite "the same"! Still - I'm very thankful for the internet, especially after my cable connection (also including TV and phone) was down for around 24 hours this week (and I wasn't sure if it was going to be longer). The fault turned out to be in the power adapter to my cable box though, and I was able to go and pick up a new one the next day - and then everything was back to normal. So really just a reminder how much we depend on that connection to the rest of the world these days!

Happy Belated THANKSgiving! I Love seeing your photos. I love tea and I enjoy it daily. We are in a deep freeze so it is extra comforting in the cold months. Thanks for your nice visit and hoping your days are beautiful and you stay happy and healthy. HUGS across the miles XO XO XO XO

I am glad you stopped by my original blog. I am doing my thankful things at my second blog which pops up on your commenting section here. Not trying to recruit visitors but I made an error when I set up my second blog so I run into troubles because I did not follow their directions. (sigh). I still love them both though.
