The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse by Charlie Mackesy

Above is a page from the book I recently bought, on a whim, because it sounded so good. It is every bit as wonderful as I hoped. This is a book for anyone of any age, child to adult, who loves to dream, to hope and to grow.
The title is "The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and the Horse", words and drawings by Charlie Mackesy.
Below is the cover.

In a move against all the darkness in the world these days, I treated myself to the hardcover edition and it is a book I will read or just dip into, again and again. Maybe I have intrigued you to get a copy too.

You have intrigued me. I am avoiding everything these days...social media, what they used to call the "news"...people....I just can't take any more nastiness.

Such true words, "Everyone is a bit scared, but we are less scared together." Thank you for telling us about this book. We all need each other. If only the world would see that instead of passing on so much hate.
Blessings,
Betsy

I was recently given this as a present and I love it, every bit as good as you say and beautifully illustrated. A cross between Winnie the Pooh and The Velveteen Rabbit, just a joy. Sarah D.

Hmmm, this is the second post about this book I've seen in the last couple of days. I'm not really a fan of graphic novels yet, I'm curious.

I love a good read. I will check it out. I recently bought several books regarding western NY where our youngest daughter lives with her new husband. There is always interesting history everywhere. My late Uncle Louie was a Colorado history buff and there was nothing about our state that he did not know. Thank you for sharing and always visiting me. Have a wonderful week. HUGS across the miles
