I like the bold rose purple color of these flowers on two foot tall stems, and the dainty yellow flowers in their centers. The first two photos here that I took do not capture the purple of the petals but I like how they show the tiny yellow petals in the centers.
I plant Purple Prince Zinnias from seed every year, directly in a container and directly in the garden soil outside. They grow very dependably.
Below is a photo from Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds showing the purple rose color that more closely matches my flowers.

They are beautiful. We try to find purple flowers. They go great with our lavender house! Right now we have Mexican Petunias blooming like crazy. Our zinnias and other flowers in pots are dying back. Hugs!
How gorgeous!
Exquisite - they really are the most beautiful flower.
These were some of my mom's favorite flowers and always think of her when I see them. I don't always get to plant them every year. Love yours.
Oh my, these are pretty. The colors look different in the pictures, and you can see the Purple in the last picture. I've never planted Zinnias, but I'm thinking about it next spring.
Happy September days, Terra.
love, ~Sheri
Gorgeous zinnia's! Purple is my favorite color. These are wonderful.
Blessings, Betsy
LOVELY :)
Beautiful. I don't have any of these in my yard but will next year. : )
Ooooh, pretty!
The garden is starting to get leggy and fade with the shortening days....
I love zinnia's! I've never seen that color before.
They are beautiful!!! I have never been able to grow them!
Spectacular, Terra! I've always loved purple and pink flowers. I can grow zinnias as annuals. :D

I haven't grown Zennias in years and I don't know why. They are wonderful in the garden and perfect in a vase. Your purple Zennias are beauties.
Oh my goodness, gorgeous zinnias! My mom always planted them and I think I better get busy and plant some next year too! The deep purple color is regal and quite lovely. Thank you for sharing.
Those zinnias are huge and beautiful!
The Zinnias are really beautiful and love the pretty colours. My dear old mum used to grow them
Happy weekend
Hugs

Beautiful colours
I LOVE Zinnia's. Well done my garden friend.
They are in fact gorgeous! Very beautiful rose color.
Thank you for stopping by my blog, Books, Cupcakes, and Cats Chasing Chipmunks!
I'm just stopping by to say hello and that I hope all is well with you and your husband. Hugs to you, my friend! πΌπ»π
The colours of these flowers are almost too much to handle!! Very nice pictures. My youngest daughter spends a lot of time creeping around flowerbeds with her camera, she will enjoy these a lot!!! Blessings!
Okey, so now I know, California!! Well, if I have beautiful skies, you have lovely flowers with astonishing colours. Maybe you want to take a look at my landscape, the post from this weekend will show you quite a different piece of nature than yours, with the applesafari. You really must be a good gardener, our garden is slowly decaying now in the heat and drought we suffer from.
So nice to see....zinnias??
I didn't realize just how much I love zinnia flowers until a couple years ago when I planted some from seed. They were always a favorite of my dad and that is the reason I planted some. They grew tall and full of flowers that are so bright and colorful.
Your photos are lovely!
I love zinnias! This is just beautiful Terra! The colors are just so amazing!!! I would love to actually see your garden in person someday. What a beautiful time that would be.
sending hugs your way...
Fantastic flowers love from Poland
Love the purple zinnias. I haven't ever grown them must try one day.
Thank you for introducing me these flowers. I can see that the color are prettier when the sunshine comes :)
I love your purple flowers. So nice!
Oh MY! I have never ever seen purple zinnias! They are gorgeous!
Hi,
Thanks for coming by, hope you will be back.
You have some great choices in books , will check them out my reading list
Has gotten low.
Such pretty zinnias! I love the shade of purple...very unique! I went to our local nursery and the zinnias all looked bad (burned) so I went with cosmos instead.
Hi Terra,
Your colorful zinnias remind me so much of my late grandma's garden. Have a lovely evening.
