True, Terra. Our thanks are, indeed, huge, toward all veterans everywhere, those who are living now as well as to those who have gone to the other side before us. Susan p.s. Thanks for all your visits.
Indeed. Veterans deserve our endless thanks and appreciation. My hubby is a Vietnam vet, and it still gets to him when someone tells him, "Welcome home."
Terra you are so right. Without the sacrifices made by so many ... we would not enjoy the freedoms we often take for granted. Wishing you a beautiful week.. xo C. (HHL)
There was a big commemoration celebration here in Belgium in Ypres in the presence of Prince Philip of the UK. He got 70 bags of earth from the battle field to create a memorial garden in London !
there aren't enough words to express our thanks. I read somewhere that said something like this ... " we are the home of the brave because of our veterans... :) thank you so much for dropping by and leaving your nice nice comment. :)
A debt we can never repay...I tried all day to get my Dad's WW2 photo onto FB, but for some reason it wouldn't post. With each year I get older the more I appreciate the sacrifices of he and all the other Vets.
