Autumnal Color Tulip Bouquet

Note the acorn squash and the almost ready yummy persimmons. We like to squeeze lemon juice and a dab of whipped cream on persimmons.

Oh, I love persimmons and haven't had one for years. They are best when you have your own tree and eat them at the perfect ripeness. Your flowers are such a beautiful Fall color! Hugs!

What a beautiful hue! With all the brown leaves and bare branches in our area a spot of color is a welcome sight today. Thanks for sharing.

Oh those colours are luscious! The first time I tasted persimmon, I thought I licked some antiperspirant .. it made my mouth SO dry. Then I learned that it was not ripe.. or the right kind.. or something. I have since enjoyed them very much.

Superb colours! Good enough to brighten any dull, grey autumn day.

What a masterpiece of photography. Looks like a painting.

Love persimmons. Bread, cookies, fresh, jam....it's endless.

Lovely colors. My husband loves persimmons but usually eats them pretty mushy. Never heard of them being eaten with lemon juice and whipped cream. Very interesting. :) Best wishes, Tammy

What a beautiful vignette. Colors are gorgeous. I love persimmons - but the first time I ate one it was not ripe and tasted awful. Made my mouth pucker!! But they are delicious when ripe. Will have to try the lemon and whipped cream.

I am your newest follower.

Ah persimmons! Fruit combined with the beautiful tulips is a winning combination and the glowing colours of both make an attractive display with elements you can also eat and enjoy!

Thanks for having dropped by for a visit! I agree with your comments, and am glad to follow you back to enjoy this splendid post. Just what I needed on a cold day in Nova Scotia. And now, I'm going to go buy some tulips!

Hi Terra, thanks so much for visiting and leaving a comment on my blog.

It's a nice orange arrangement you have here! :) I haven't tasted persimmons, I'm so curious now how they taste and with lemon juice and whipped cream...

Happy weekend ahead!

There is censorship in Kuwait though I must say I was surprised at some of what was available at the used bookstore. Not sure about Bibles. There must be someplace they can be bought as we have several churches in the city. :) Thanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend. Tammy
