The house of Ralph Waldo Emerson, Concord MA

When I was a child my uncle gave me some old editions of books written by Emerson and I have admired his writing and his character ever since. Emerson lived from 1803 to 1882.

I love some of his writings too.
He was such an interesting man who believed in the individuality of man. I love to read his quotes.
I like a house like this, tucked away...
I must admit that I have - as far as I can remember - never read anything by this author. Maybe I should remedy that.
What a great quote. I love visiting historical homes.

What a wonderful house surrounded by nature to inspire him. I love to see the yesteryear era...to dream of the lives that lived in the older houses, and to feel a part of who they may have been.. Just loved this.
Great fan of Emerson. One of my favorite excursions with my parents was a trip to Concord. We didn't see Emerson's house, but we went to Walden Pond and to the Alcott House.
What an awesome quote.
RWE has so many great quotes.
