Heart ice cubes, coffee shop,Bounce,patio

Fun for ice tea, this is a heart ice cube tray which I like to use.

Above is me at Shrine Coffee, plenty of room for social distancing, the ocean is across the street, and the gardens are extensive. Here you see my pandemic long hair, no hair cut for over a year. After this photo was taken I did dare to go in for my first hair cut in eons.

Above is Bounce getting a sun bath on my patio, you can glimpse my 5 foot tall pink rose bush in the background, and below are petunias on the patio.

Just wanted to share a few things from my summer days. How is your summer going? I know my friends in Australia and Africa are enjoying cooler months now as the year there cools down.

Love the heart ice cubes! It is very warm here - 100 degrees today with the heat index. Hopefully cooler temperatures on the way.

My hair has gotten long enough, I might just keep it long. I made it past the awkward stage and am just deciding how appropriate it is for my age.

You would think Bounce would go lie in the shade!!
Your petunias are lovely shades of pink.

My plants endured quite a shock when I went back to Spokane for a week about 2 weeks ago. I had taken them to my MIL's pation where she was going to water them along her her plants. Well, I don't think those were watered either. They are just starting to pull out of it. Now I'm worried about the time we're in London for two weeks. I'm thinking of getting a plastic pool and putting it on the back pation, filling it with water and setting the plants in it. Then they an drink if their thirsty!
Blessings,
Betsy

Lovely summerpost!-

You look beautiful with the long hair! I also did not cut my hair since long- new ways in the pandemie! :)

The ice-hearts are funny. To drink a good tea with good friends on a good place lets melt hearts of ice :)

You dog is VERY sweet!

I love the colours of the roses and petunias.

Have a blessed summertime!

Lovely pictures! So colorful!! Our summer here in Florida is being pretty typical: HOT, MUGGY, HUMID, RAINY, BUGGY, and HOT! LOL. But when everyone else is freezing to death and shoveling snow and scraping ice, we are cool and lovely and have perfect weather...so it is a trade-off. I can survive summer as long as our AC works, and then we have at least 6 months of beautiful weather. Love those heart ice cubes! That would be fun for an "iced-tea party". Have a blessed and wonderful week.

Bounce has collapsed in the heat too. No wonder. Yay for haircuts!

Nice sampling of your life at present. Had to laugh at the picture of the dog - named Bounce - sunning himself. Not very bouncy! Haha.

I must admit it doesn't feel like Summer here as yet, the temperatures are low for the season. I am on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides.

Glad you shared some of your summer. Mine so far as been filled with family but everyone has visited so I guess the rest of the summer will be quiet.

I would have liked to have seen a post-haircut picture too, Terra. I'm sure you look just as lovely as the pre-haircut one!! Your flowers are gorgeous in the summer sunshine! I needed summer this year, how about you? ~Andrea xoxoxo

I love to see your cube tray. I have a dark brown one, to make chocolate in it. But I think I can choose water too.

Great pics. Here is is rainy, cloudy en I am a little bit depressed sometimes. Not really depressed but no sun for days.

High summer here in Italy, the irrigation is on the sun shades are up. Fortunately there has been some cooler air at night and we’ve managed to get our bedroom down to 24 degrees for sleep. Looking lovely at yours, enjoy.

Terra, those pink flowers on your table in the back yard are so pretty! At first I thought your patio was a restaurant or cafe, it's so nice and charming. And Bounce looks like he's having a good rest lying there in the sun. Have never heard of Shrine Coffee in So Cal. Your heart ice cube tray is sweet - perfect for Valentine's Day and this Summer heat.

Happy July days to you, Terra.

Thanks for your comment on my blog Goldendaze-Ginnie. This is my first time visiting your blog and I enjoyed it a lot. I just wish I knew where you are located. I am in North Carolina, U.S.A. Loved the ice tray ... those little ice cubes would look so cook in a cold soda drink.
