Hi friends, I have pens and paper and I am not afraid to use them.
After one full week of self isolating I am getting Bored and Lonesome and longing to hang out with people.
I have many note cards and postcards and in case you are Bored or Lonesome, I offer to send one to you. I have International stamps so where ever you are, I can send you a card.
The photo shows just a few examples of my big stash of cards.
Let me know in the comments if you would like a card. You can contact me via email or leave your email addy in your comment. Don't leave your postal address in the comment.
Be well and of good cheer my friends.
Update on March 28, 2020. I have sent 14 cards so far, and it is fun sending them out with friendly thoughts for each recipient. One already arrived in Europe, a fast journey. If you want a card and haven't asked, please do, my cards and pens are at your service. I love sending mail to friends in other countries in addition to the USA.
This reminds me to thank all the postal workers and delivery men (haven't seen any women yet) for being so faithful in their work. So many people are deserving of our thanks aren't they? Health workers, teachers learning online teaching, store clerks, truck drivers, the list is long and each person is doing important work. I have truck drivers in my family and I do love them. Thank you all.

How very sweet you are. I would love to get a card from you. wanda.slaven@gmail.com.

I would be happy to exchange snail-mail notes with you! We've exchanged before, and I'm pretty sure I have your address, so I'll go first.
I would love a card! We have to stay in touch as much as we can. "Real" mail may give us something to hang onto better than email.
I think you have my address. Let me know if you don't. :-). Hang in there my friend. God will get us through this.
Blessings,
Betsy
That is so sweet and Kind. I will accept your post as my card from you.
Thank you <3

Hi Terra - that's a great idea - I'm sure many will enjoy receiving a real card ... letter writing is such a good thing for us all. I'm fine - but think the idea is great - cheers and look after yourself - Hilary
What a great idea. If it wasn't for getting out to work I think I would be going nuts. I have a 4 day weekend coming up and I'll probably be bored out of my mind.
What a wonderful idea! Thank you for the offer. I will just say that your post is a lovely "card" to me, and you can save your cards for those who truly do need to hear from someone. Thank you for thinking of all of us! God bless you!
That's a fun idea, Terra. Very clever and happy!
Hi long time reader, first time commenter. You should look at the blog called Trundling through life as she is trying to organise a letter swap with her readers. Cheers from Luz in Oz
I love this — what a great idea! I will send you one in return. Email me for my address. cynthiareimer22@gmail.com
What a good idea! You're kind!
so thoughtful... such a great idea. this is something that we all should be doing. I love hand written notes and cards, but not many people send them these days.
how sweet of you to think about friends while you are at home MY friend!
i loved "rest in his faithfulness " so much
stay blessed and safe!
With WhatsApp, Facebook and the ubiquitous cell phone in everyone's hands, one is never really alone. In fact, sometimes these gadgets overwhelm me and I almost get out of all the applications.
Bende kalem ve kağıt çok severim. Yanımdan ayrılmayan ikili. Ne zaman ilham geleceği belli olmaz değil mi? :)
I'd love to get one AND I promise to send one back too! I think everyone is going to get creative and go back to 'the good old days' types of activities! I know already I've been getting out more sewing and crafting (also because like many I'm working from home and there's not a lot of work!) and looking at other ways to connect with people. Aren't we so blessed to live in a world where we have the internet??? I know we've skyped much more in recent weeks with out kids who are all scattered around the country. In fact, my girls and I are planning a 'virtual' tea party this week!
Barbers6@yahoo.com. I would love a card Terra and I have something for you. Joyful/Barbara
What a lovely idea Terra. I have loads of postcards too and have collected them for years. If you write to me at luvinwildlife@gmail.com, maybe we could exchange one.
Dear Terra, thank you for your comment - and ho!: that is a great idea! I take your post as a very creative post-card, thank you - and am following you by now! XXX Britta
I offered email, text or phone calls at my blog. If you are going goofy at home, please email me at: farkel4@yahoo.com. I have a few people that I am communicating with and catching up, which is sort of fun, actually. We are here for each other in the crisis!
HAVE A BLESSED SUNDAY
Terra, thank you so much for stopping by my blog CHERISCHATTER and leaving such a nice comment. I hope my prayer will encourage and help others. There is sooooo much to pray for right now, and I am thankful many are praying along with me. Stay safe and well:)
A card would be fun. I will send you one and then you can send me one. Love and take care!
Terra - a lovely idea of yours. You probably read yesterday of my friend sending me a postcard and how much I appreciated it. Some people must be very lonely if only we knew about them. I am thankful every day for my blog friends, my family who live near (even if I do only speak to me son through the window) and all my local friends who speak with me daily.
Hi Terra! Oh, you look like you're all prepared to stay in during our quarantined time. Thanks for popping in to see me and I pray you're staying safe.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Dear Terra, I received my beautiful card from you, and didn't realize that you were a California gal. I love Santa Cruz and the Pacific Coast and Monterey. We served in Santa Barbara for 6 years in a little Missionary Church. I loved living by the ocean. We moved to Baldwin Park to be close to the kids and grandkids after retiring from ministry. I really don't know much about the town of Baldwin Park, as we have a circle of places we go to. Two daughters and a son live in So. CA, and the youngest lives in Oregon. I love the little town of Monrovia as it has small time main street, cute shops and a Bistro that serves a wonderful Monte Cristo Sandwich. I like Trader Joe's and Costco. We love our church which is only a few miles away in West Covina.
Thanks again for reaching out with your lovely cards and messages~ such a nice bread from being in Lockdown. Have a great day... I will return you card with one of mine. Love and Hugs dear blog friend for so many years.
Thank you for commenting, with your Happy Birthday Wishes!!!!
Gentle hugs

How very sweet of you! Something tells me you're a "bloom-where-you're-planted" kinda gal, and that's great. Bet you had pen pals when you were a young girl, too. :) I'm hunkered down with my hubby, so I'm good, but I appreciate the offer. Take care of yourself. We need people like you in the world. :)
Terra,
Thanks so much for stopping by my Christmas Blog... I am keeping busy decorating for different Holidays and Season and crafting too!! Our oldest son has moved in with us until all of this is over as he lives alone but can work from home. Which would have meant he would be alone in his apartment 24/7 which is not good for anyone.
I invite you to visit my regular blog when you have a chance. Debbie-Dabble Blog.
Stay safe, healthy and happy!!
Hugs,
Debbie
What a lovely idea!! I suspect many of us are getting bored with staying home and are wishing for the end of this enforced alone-ness.
How generous of you!
We would love a card from our home state. We love and miss the S.C. gypsyspiritrising@gmail.com
What a nice gesture. I never mined being home, but, I must say, I thought I'd be a lot more productive and reading more, instead I play mindless games and stare at the ceiling after watching way too much new ----sigh.
The comment above begins with the words I was going to write. What a lovely idea! And I just forgot what I was supposed to do to get a card. Old age is so much FUN! You forget, then you have to go back, if you can, to remember and make a hasty not in order to not forget again. Oh, well.....
I sent you a silly card in the mail and I hope it arrived! It wasn't as pretty as the ones you send out, but the pickings have been slim at the limited number of places I'm shopping these days! :) Take care, my friend.
I love it, Terra! How kind of you!
You have such a kind heart. Such a sweet thing to do.... You will be Blessed
I did give our wonderful mail lady a mask. I’m so thankful for the postal service.
I would love a card! Dkjosey2008@gmail.com
