Horse and flowers in the garden on a neighborhood stroll

Look out friends, I have been on a stroll around our neighborhood and took some photos.
My neighbor's horse made me smile.

I was very surprised to see their horse.
In another garden I saw this pretty Mexican bush sage. The flowers feel like velvet and I have some in our yard too.
Isn't this palm tree handsome? I am guessing this is a date palm. What do you think?
That was a fun walk, and I hope you enjoyed it too.

Very enjoyable walk, Terra. The sage is so colorful. The horse is very unique! A treat for me to see the palm tree, also. Happy November.

What a wonderful post!

I love the Mexican bush sage (does it have a scent?)and the palm tree. The place where you live is beautiful!

And do you know WHY your neighbor has a big plastic horse?! Hahaha! I wish I had interesting, goofy neighbors like that. Mine are mostly pretty dull!

Your walk was an inspiration and a bit of a puzzle...why the horse? One has to wonder.

I wonder why they have that horse? I enjoyed the walk. No more flowers in our area, winter will be coming!

Amazing to see the horse in the yard and makes me wonder is a replica of one they once owned.
Tree and flowers are lovely.

That purple flower looks a lot like the Spanish lavender at my old house, soooo pretty. And the horse is delightful. Thank you for the comment on my grandfather post, Terra. I think about him sometimes working on that railroad. :)

Wishing you good November days.

love, ~Sheri

Ha, ha! This horse is a funny decorative detail. Instead of garden gnoms, storks or dogs, which is very popular in Poland, you can put horse in your garden. I would have it painted green with purple patches, so it will look even funnier.
