Here is a bouquet I bought at the organic Farmers' Market on Saturday.
I like the shadow under the vase in the first photo. Do you adore that color blue too? When I saw these Forget-me-nots I thought "I want to grow these." But, guess what, I think that whenever I see a flower I like. Photos on some of your blogs inspired me to buy a hydrangea, Green Bombshell, which is a smaller hydrangea. I saw incredible blue delphiniums on blogs and bought "Blue Mirror" delphinium this spring. Now I read on a blog there is a small lilac. There is so much beauty all around us, it is unending. As I grieve for the people in Orlando, I share these pretty photos here to lift spirits.
"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." Ephesians 6:12
"Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 15:27

I do like the photo's you've shared.
Thank you
All the best Jan
Your flowers are so pretty and I, too, think the shadow is beautiful. Thank you for the verses you shared today. They are very appropriate for what is happening in the world today.
Blessings,
Betsy
My favorite quote from the bible is "This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it." It seems to fit everything I see around me.
Be well.
Yes, I agree about Orlando - I am sure it is in all our thoughts at the moment.
I think those are probably perennial forget-me-nots as they seem sturdier and bluer than the usual ones I have in my garden, which seed freely when they have finished flowering.
There isn't a sweeter flower, but I have never seen any so tall. Beautiful. I planted some from seed just last week.
I love the bouquet and the shadows!! Yes, our hearts were stunned for Orlando.....
nice post
I love blue flowers and I like that blue vase and the shadow too!
We are studying that passage in Ephesians in my Bible Study this week.
I'm very fond of forget-me-nots and always have some in the garden. They are the most beautiful blue!
Beautiful colour is blue - one of my favourite colours.
It is so tragic about the mass killings and my heart hurts for those families. I don't understand the mindset of someone that wants to kill us. Beautiful bouquet and like the others, I love the shadow. Also love your roses.
I do love that color blue as well! Together with lilac, they are my favorites!
So very pretty. I love blue.
Thank you for visiting me, Terra... Gosh...Ive missed stopping in! Beautiful! <3
Terra, Such a pretty arrangement and I love the blue-vase, flowers and shadow on the tablecloth. I love Delphiniums too. Loved your thoughts on Orlando-such a tragedy.
Hugs,
Noreen
Gorgeous flowers and a nice post, too. Have a wonderful day!
Those flowers are so gorgeous Terra,
I feel exactly the same over plants I think I love them all... (even weeds to a certain point, especially if they're not in my garden).
I've blue plants in my garden and I adore them.
We had another tragedy this last week with a beautiful young mother of two stabbed and shot. The whole country is reeling. We need to keep beauty and goodness all around us.
So pretty I have become a blue lover too! Thank you for your kind words on the Orlando tragedy

Oh I love blue flowers. Since participating in the quilt project a few years ago, and I am not a talented sewing or quilting kinda gal, I just orchestrated it, over 100 people who blog participated in sending a square to make a quilt for a little girl who was dying from a rare brain cancer. She was 3 and the outpouring of kindness was so overwhelming that Suzanne was able to prepare a second quilt for a baby in ICU. Anyway, the little girl Shannon's parents wanted nothing to do with our quilt and we kept praying. Somehow they changed their mind and accepted the gift as a Memory Quilt because Shannon had passed away. The parents sent each participate a packet of forget-me-nots and asked us to plant them in memory of Shannon. Every year I do this and this year the darn rabbits ate all my pretty flowers off the plants. But that is ok, because I will continue to plant them and add more and more each year. I am not winning the bunny battle but they really do not know who they are dealing with! I will forever remember a sweet lil girl who was taken away too soon and always think of her when I see the forget-me-nots. Thank you for your sweet share, hugs, Anne
Lovely !
It's all blue . Liking the shadow

Yes, I DO love blue flowers.....
Hi Terra - I love that blue ... and the forget me not flowers ... also as you mention that shadow thrown by the sun ... beautiful ...
We too have had a Member of Parliament murdered - she was a great exemplar to all who encountered her ... she was only 41 ... once I'm settled I write something up for later in the year. We have the Referendum too ...
Cheers and good to see you over on the blog - thanks - Hilary
I'm a fan of the blues, too. With yellow always makes me happy.
Yes, faith helps me not worry. Feel sad, sure, but not fret.
Your forget-me-nots are so pretty, Terra, and the blue vase you put them in is lovely. They look beautiful together, and thank you for the verse today. It's so nice to be reminded.
love, ~Sheri
