Our pink Sun Rose and our cream Lantana are happy in the half wine barrel, which they completely cover, but it is under there some where.
I planted these two pretty plants about ten years ago and they get compliments from people walking past our home.
The Sun Rose is also known as Cistus, and the petals of the flowers are papery thin and look almost like they are made of silk. Sun Rose and Lantana do not need much water, which is good news in the drought we are having here in California.
I think the plants look like a gigantic bouquet that a giant bride could carry in a wedding ceremony.

Really nice, glad you shared.
How beautiful! It appears the barrel was the perfect choice, it holds them perfectly.
It's no wonder you get compliments on this combo, it's very pretty and they must be compatible since they've been together about 10 years.
Have a great weekend ~ FlowerLady
Beautiful flowers - thanks for sharing them with us.
They really look pretty together! Such cheery colors. Enjoy your week sweet friend. Hugs, Diane
Just beautiful!
The flowers are beautiful.
I wish I could send you some of our rain. It has been raining on and off here for WEEKS. I would love to see some sun.
How beautiful and pink and yellow look together with the splash of green....pretty as a picture. Sending Blessings and hugs
Beautiful! I love it, and I agree, perfect for a Bride to Be :-)

I love lantana!! but it is considered a pest over here and to my astonishment, my brother pulled it all out of my front garden.. I'm glad you have yours, as it so pretty. xxx
Gorgeous!
Really nice looking flowers there, perhaps we just kept the wrong type of flowers in our yard, they are browning really well now thanks to the 10 minute twice a week watering we have here in La Mesa Calif.
Just beautiful!! Lantana is one of my favorites! I have a yellow one but I like the multicolored ones best. I remember them from my childhood.....lantana, seven sister roses and honeysuckle! I have all three of these in my flower beds today!
Just lovely!
The sun rose and lantana is beautiful, Terra. I've never seen the sun rose before, it's a bit different than the rose. And this is such a vibrant color. I can see why you have people passing by and admiring it.
Thank you for the birthday wishes for Nel. I can't believe she's 34!
Have a good weekend Terra.

They are indeed colourful. I bet they look wonderful in reality, it's no wonder people comment on them as they pass by.
Some beautiful colour here. A feast for the eyes! xx
These are so beautiful, Terra. Our lantana bushes in Natchez are probably blooming right now too. Thanks for stopping by, always love having you around....Christine
Beautiful! I live in a second-floor apartment, but I have my little potted garden. Flowers just lift my spirits.
Lantana! I've often wondered about that flower--never knew the name of it before. Thank you!
Terra, thank you for your comment today. I just added you to the list on my post, my friend.
love, ~Sheri
They are beautiful! I like drought tolerant flowers and I don't have either of these. I'm off to do a google search. Thank you for sharing.
