Farmers Market Goodies

Each Saturday a three minute drive from our home there is a Farmers Market from 9 to 1, all local organic produce.
Here is what I bought today. The purple flowers are Blue Horizons Ageratum.
The striped cucumber is an Armenian cucumber. I also bought a tomato, mixed salad greens, fingerling potatoes and radishes.
For dinner tonight, left over wild caught salmon, fingerling potatoes, and Asian cucumber and tomato salad. For the salad slice the cucumber in thin slices, add sliced tomato, green onions if you like, and pour seasoned rice vinegar over it.

The pretty flowers and veggies make a pretty still life picture. Don't think I have seen a stripped cucumber before.
Hope you are enjoying the weekend.

Your supper/dinner sounds delicious and the flowers are beautiful. We've been having some pretty nice weather here in Ohio for Aug. I hope this doesn't mean we're going to have a horrible winter. Thanks for your visit.

Beautiful ageratum - and I visited some or your past posts too, so beautiful coreopsis and nasturtiums!
That supper of leftover salmon must have been yummy. I always try to cook enough for leftovers, as I love most meals the second time around.

Terra,
These purple flowers are gorgeous. I've never heard of them before. My dad used to have a garden, and he would bring home the nicest looking radishes. Don't ya just love Farmer's Markets? You brought home some wonderful goodies.
