I bought pink tulips 5 days ago and when they began to droop, as tulips do, I cut the their stems shorter and put them in two small vases. They look quite cute, I think, and it is a way to keep them in the house and still flowering.
The next two photos show them before droop, and then beginning to fade with the first new bouquet near them.

Hello:
How strange that you should post this now. This morning we were given a bunch of tulips and, as we write this only three to four hours later, they are already drooping. We shall do as you have done with yours!
Really, really lovely!
That's a great way to enjoy them even longer! Next...a bowl! Sweet hugs!
The tulips are lovely fresh and drooping. A very colorful post. Your table cloth is very festive.
Have a great day ~ FlowerLady
Tulips are gorgeous to have indoors at this time of the year! They always bring a smile to my face, since they are so cheerful. Yours fit your table clothes pretty well! Happy Gardening!

I like tulips when they are full blown, and yours are gorgeous!
If you are in Florida next February, you certainly may come for the DD! Isn't it a great show? I just love it!
We had fun at the dinner. The kids were great!

So pretty, Terra. And, of course, I love pink. Susan
My Mum and my sister always have flowers in their house, and they love tulips. They've been doing this (cutting them short as soon as they start to droop) for as long as I can remember.
Yours have such a vibrant colour, it is impossible to look at them and feel gloomy! (Not that I was feeling gloomy before I looked at them, but you know what I mean.)
So very pretty!
They are beautiful tulips, Terra.
Hi Terra! Your tulips are so lovely and the color is pretty! I like your table cloth too. Thanks for popping in to see my purple cows.
be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Absolutely gorgeous.
They look beautiful!
I love pink tulips! They do seem to droop easily, though. You've done a great job keeping the blooms alive.
Tulips always remind me of spring which is why they are probably one of my favorite flowers. These pink ones are lovely.
Keep cutting until you get their last gasp. I love tulips but I can never get them to last a week.
Lovely tulips, I see so many beautiful ones in the stores I need to put some in my house too!!!Thanks for your visit today too.

You have tulips? Oh....I am so ready for spring. Love the pink color of these.
Love tulips, ours are almost ready to bloom in our garden.
Hi there. It's so lovely to see tulips appearing again. I actually quite like them when they droop. So artistic! A good idea to cut the stems like that though, so that you can keep their beauty for a while longer. I don't know whether it's true, but my daughter told me that if you only put a small amount of water in a vase, they're not supposed to droop!
I love tulips, so lovely.
I have missed you Mrs. Terra.
Anyway, they are beautiful tulips. I wich I am easier to get one here.
Hope you are doing well.
Love,
Delvalina
So pretty....and Springy.
Your pink tulips are really beautiful and I like your idea to save and enjoy them a little longer.
A good idea to keep your flowers blooming!
Thank you. Love love, Andrew. Bye.
I love pink tulips, a beautiful reminder that spring will be here soon, and will be able to enjoy the outside again, and putzing in the flower beds!
It will be a long time until our snow is melted, but I'm thinking I will buy some tulips to enjoy as you have. It always amuses me that tulips continue to grow in the vase. Happy spring thoughts!
Somehow, tulips look good even when they hang over.
Pink tulip is pretty flowers. but yellow tulips has its own beauty.

Very pretty! I have a painting which my friend did of a tulip with a very short stem in a little glass vase. Her cat bit the stem off but she liked it so much she painted it. Yours look particularly beautiful against the delightful blue and coloured background - how artistic!
Hi Terra, just had to say how much I loved your tulips! They are one of my most favorite flowers. They are one of the few flowers that are even more beautiful on the inside than they are on the outside! Have a lovely almost spring afternoon! With Love, Delisa :)
These tulips are gorgeous and they really make it feel like spring will finally come out this way.
Terra,
Your pink tulips are so vibrant and pretty. Tulips are one of my favorite flowers. They look just like spring to me.
