Wouldn't it be fun to actually be there on a gondola ride?

You and I both love it and have not been there! I hear they are really sinking, it is a shame.
I've never been there either, but I've heard a lot about it. Neat picture.
I so want to go.

I play a piano version a Barcarol (sp?) by Hoffman...about a gondola. Ha ha. Love the picture. I am you newest member..just joined you. Mary
Oh, Jess loved the Gondola rides in Venice. Sometimes they have these rides in places where we live. Wouldn't it be nice to be on one and see all the different surroundings and culture of others?

I'm watching Food Network right now and Giada de Laurentiis is travelling around Venice showing the sights and eating lots of wonderful food. :) Have a wonderful weekend. Tammy
I've read several of Donna Leon's books. Enjoy the settings so much.
Venice is lovely--hope you get there some time. I'll put that book on my reading list. Mickie ;)
A place I have always wanted to go to as well, maybe one day...... Diane
Hi Terra, Thank you so much for stopping by Creative Breathing. I absolutely love the layout and simplicity of your blog. I have so enjoyed going through past posts. Your Mother's Day post is so sweet. I hope you have a lovely weekend and a happy week ahead! Elizabeth
Venice is one of my all-time favorite places. I was very lucky and got to spend two weeks there twenty years ago, and it was as wonderful as I had hoped. I'm a big fan of Donna Leon's and really enjoy her books.
I have read of Donna Leon's books and feel like Inspector Guido Brunetti and his family are personal friends. I had the joy of spending a weekend in Venice and it is truly like no other place!
