I am so happy to celebrate having 100 followers, each one of you so dear and sweet.

What can I do to celebrate this auspicious occasion?

Give away a few of my favorite things: Books, yes, books.

Leave a comment here for a chance to win:

1.Ladies' No. 1 Detective Agency by Alexander McCall Smith. If you haven't read this one you are in for a treat. A fabulous lady solves mysteries and takes you in to her beloved country of Botswana. The first in a series.

2. The Tale of Hill Top Farm: The Cottage Tales of Beatrix Potter by Susan Wittig Albert. Ms. Potter and her pets are all characters who solve a mystery. Set in 1905 in the country home where Beatrix Potter lived. The first in a series. It is fascinating to eavesdrop on the animals chatting amongst themselves.

3. Treasured: Knowing God by the Things He Keeps by Leigh McLeroy. The author guides us in finding tangible reminders of God's active presence in our own lives. For my review of this book see my post of 12/3/09.
Leave one comment here for an entry to win one book, and note which book you would like; if you are a follower tell me and you will have an extra entry. Winners announced March 22.

I saw the television series of "No 1 Detective Agency" and was hooked. Since I've never visited Africa, this introduction was spectacular.

Dear Terra, I am thrilled for you to have reached over 100 'Followers'. It is a tribute to your postings that so many people, myself included, follow you. I very much hope that you will continue well into the future with your weblog to the delight of the next hundred 'Followers'.

I am more than happy to read and comment on your postings; please do not include me in your very generous draw as it is far too complicated.

Thank you for following my blog! I enjoyed reading your posts.

The book giveaway sounds fun. As much as I am an avid reader, I haven't read any of the No. 1 Detective Agency series. I see the books quite a lot though.

By the way, nice meeting you! I'm now following!

What a great way to bless your followers! You truly have cultivated a beautiful garden.

I have an invitation for you. Would you help us share the joy and zest for life that bubbles from your page? Our home has been void of sparkle and zest for a bit now. It's time to break out of it. I am starting a challenge for all of us (mostly me) to enjoy life. And each week share what we did. I'm inviting you to join us. And help us all with your zest for life.

and let me know if you want to splash with me!

Hi Terra. I've read two of the three books, but won't ask for the one I haven't read because I always feel guilty getting free books (hmm, Southern upbringing?).

Incidentally, I gave you The Beautiful Blogger Award today.

Oh Terra, you made my heart sing with the nice comments about the shirt I made. I am always so nervous to show anyone something like that. I have no confidence in that department.

Congrats on 100 followers. By this time next year it will be quad X2 I'm sure. I would love to win one of your books also. Please do enterv me in the drawing. It is so cool to know an author.
Many Blessings,

Ok, so I guess I better join the human race and read the No 1 Detective Agency. Am I the only one who hasn't?

Love your posts,

I know Susan Wittig Albert and love and have all her Beatrix Potter books. What a great idea she had.
