To follow God or to ignore Him

God?

C.S. Lewis wrote about this too, and how as a young man and an Oxford professor, he felt he knew all the answers and did not want to defer to God. Lewis called himself the world's most reluctant convert.
Tolkien played a role in converting Lewis to become a Christian, through many talks as friends.
Part of Lewis' conversion experience occurred when his brother was driving him on his motorcycle to the zoo, and Lewis was seated in the motorcycle's sidecar.
You never know just when God will reach you!
The Francis Chan quote is meaningful to me and I hope it speaks to you too.

Cover Art for my Motherhood Book

I am delighted to see the art work and design of the front and back cover for my second book "Scrapbook of Motherhood Firsts: Stories to Celebrate and Wisdom to Bless Moms". I praise Leafwood Publishers for creating the covers with such pretty art work. Our book will be available in April. Hey, that is soon! It is on Amazon already for pre-order.

Tulips for March

It is fun to treat ourselves to fresh flowers upon occasion, don't you agree? These are mainly orange and I bought them at Whole Foods, grown locally and I also bought a bouquet of yellow tulips to give to the home bound senior lady I visit. So we are enjoying beauty in our homes at the same time.
The first photo is taken the second day when the flowers are more open, and the second two were taken on the first day I brought them home and the fourth photo shows the flowers several days later.

Ah, poetry and flowers, perfection, do you agree?
