Joy and Cyclamen

Yesterday I bought 2 red cyclamen plants and 2 green ceramic pots, and put the cyclamen in said pots.
They now reside on my south facing kitchen window sill where they lend a red glow to the kitchen, and lighten my mood each time I spy them.
For the price of 2 bouquets I got this longer lasting treat. I am also a fan of flower bouquets, I might add.

Break forth in song, rejoice and sing praises." Psalm 98:4

Those are lovely - I need to pick up some flowers too.

I recently shared a song with my class that has been bringing me and them a lot of sunshine lately. It's been good :)

When I have company overnight here I always make a little bouquet of flowers and herbs to set on the nightstand. Sometimes it's just a bunch of lavender but it shows that I'm glad they're here and it makes the room smell good... and it looks pretty.

Such a beautiful plant which brings joy. Today I went exploring in the garden with my little princess to find hidden treasures... flowers blooming, beautiful butterflies and lady birds the smell of Spring and the beauty of the garden, these simple things bring such joy to our day.

Have a glorious week dear Terra. xxx

Fresh flowers when I can ... but like you a pretty plant that lasts and lasts is a good thing. What brings me joy.. feeding birds...we have a family of cardinals that visit us every year and I put out a scoop or two of birdseed. We get other birds too, but the cardinals are my favorite and are a sweet pleasure to me.(())

That's a good idea. The fall colors are at their best right now but I do like color indoors as well.

Now that is a clever idea ... hadn't thought of this. I don't now where I'd put more, tho. Yours are beautiful.

You ask what small thing we've done brings us joy. For me this morning, it was dropping by here. Your love of plants and flowers always reminds me to bring more of them into my life.

Here's what's even better: Come spring, you can put the cyclamen in the ground, in a somewhat shady spot where they don't get a lot of water. They'll probably go summer dormant.

Come fall, you'll have a happy Cyclamen plant in your garden, bigger and better than before. They bloom until the next spring.

Funny how something visually pleasing lifts our spirits or sometimes even a fragrance. Your flowers just pop with color and are so cheerful. Sometimes just the warm glow of a small lamp makes my spirits soar!
