Have a Blessed Thanksgiving

Hello friends world wide. I hope all of you have a great day. Today in the USA we celebrate Thanksgiving. Family and friends gather for a feast and fellowship. This photo seems Thanksgiving-y to me, perhaps it is because it is nostalgic.

One thing I have been appreciating this year is the beauty of the sky and the ever changing clouds.

"The Heavens declare the glory of God." Psalm 19:1

Can you see the kite someone was flying near my house? I hope you enjoy your day. Mine features my sons and I and our pup Bounce at my house and a 15 pound organic turkey and lots of other goodies.

This and That Photos

Bounce, bird bath in my back yard, peaceful place to sit in the gardens at my favorite coffee shop, wonderful book "Flash: The Homeless Donkey Who Taught Me About Life, Faith and Second Chances" a true story written by Rachel Ann Ridge, Foreword by Priscilla Shirer (love her), and clouds near my home. Dori complimented the photographer of Bounce and said Bounce likes the photographer, that is so true, my oldest son took the photo.

The Ocean and Spectacular Clouds Near My Home and My Hubby and I

I have had my terragarden blog since 2007 and that is a lot of posts. 873 is what Blogger tells me. What in the world is new to post about? Here are some photos of the ocean taken near my home.

The above photo shows the beginnings of sunset. There is a new annoyingly huge home built right on the point which is much taller than nearby homes and seems out of place to me. Can you see it?

Above is a happy moment with my husband Will on vacation in Palm Springs, California in 2004. Time just zips right along, doesn't it. We had Thai food at Thai Smile restaurant. I have a favorite Thai restaurant near my house. I enjoy silver noodles, Pad Thai and all their curries there and their delicious coconut soup.

Spectacular clouds over the ocean in photos I took a couple days ago. Can you see the small blue dot in the second photo? Is that perhaps the moon rising? The dot appears in 3 photos I took, in a different location in each photo so I don't think it is my iPhone camera. Possibly a UFO, well, possibly not. I am going with the moon rising unless any of you have a better idea.

Cypress tree, bay, antique mail box, cactus I saw on my walk

I saw this antique mailbox in my neighbor's yard today, as I walked to see the bay with Bounce.

Looking to the left I see these cypress trees, above.
To my right when facing the bay I see these powerful waves and the cliffs. I love these clouds.
Above is a succulent sitting on top of a pot which reminds me of a barrel cactus, so the succulent looks like it is growing out of a huge stem. There are lots of cactus in this neighbor's garden.
