The dog's reaction to internet mad news is priceless.
Do you make cold brew ice tea? It is easy, cheap and we have a very wide variety of teas to choose from. Teamonk makes a jasmine rose tea and Yorkshire Gold is a standard black tea for me. I fill the tea strainer with my choice of loose leaf tea (leave a bit of room as the leaves expand when wet) and put it in a pitcher of water for 8 hours. I leave the pitcher on a kitchen counter at room temperature when it is brewing. No hot water used, just cold water.
I watch some great TV shows: Son of a Critch (seems true to life, sweet comedic show about a young boy growing up in Newfoundland, Canada), The Cleaner (season 3 is here, a comedy, he cleans crime scenes), Fisk (funny Australian series about an eccentric lawyer. I like the TV series filmed in Tokyo, titled 99.9 about a young lawyer who represents the .1 percent of criminals in the Japanese court system who are found innocent. I had already read that in Japan if the police charge you it is 99% chance you will be found guilty. The show is fiction and the main character is very young and a quirky guy.
Yes Charlie Kirk, the pride is awakened in honor of you. ππ¦πππ
I'm having a busy week. My oldest son is coming over three times to cook dinner for the two of us. Much appreciated by me. Delicious healthy food (shrimp and risotto the first night) and best of all, fun chats. I got two plumbers to bid on replacing an old toilet with a new one. Shockingly expensive to hire people for home repairs. Last week my washing machine quit working (20 years old, a Kenmore, a great brand) and I replaced it with an LG brand washing machine.
And you may recall I replaced the old electric panel for my house with a new panel a couple months ago. My house is 70 years old and so was the electric panel so it was time for a new one. The old breakers were failing. A fun thing is I made my first Shutterfly framed photo collage. A birthday gift for my sister with 9 photos of family. It turned out very pretty and full of memories. I titled it "Happy Times." Have a happy September friends.

Hope you have cheerful times together π♥️
Yes inflation has made things impossible for common people here as well
Oh my your house is old but it’s wise to replace old stuff with new to avoid hazard.
Sending you love and best wishes π₯°♥️
Your statement regarding Charlie Kirk is exactly right, Terra. The sleeping giant has been awakened and will not be silent. May your day be blessed!
Hi! The dog comic is funny and true!
We don't drink tea here... :(
Yes, the Pride has been awakened.
I don't think I have ever made cold brew tea! And, I'm so lazy. I always use tea bags but love the thought of using a tea strainer. As for household things breaking down. That's one reason I love living in my apartment. My air/heat unit went out recently.... the staff just brought up a portable for me to use until they could replace mine with a new one. I do have a change a light bulb ever now and then! haha
Cute dog comic. I have never made cold brewed tea.
The dog comic made me smile. I love ❤️ tea, Terra, but I have never had this particular one. My favourite is Earl Grey but I love trying new ones as well.
I've never even heard of cold brew ice tea. Do you brew it in the fridge or in room temperature? In summer I often make some extra tea the usual way (I nearly always use loose leaf) and then put the leftovers in the fridge.
You are so right about Charlie Kirk. Thank you!
Hi Monica, I brew it at room temperature for 8 hours and then remove the tea strainer and tea and put the pitcher in the refrigerator.
I'm not a tea drinker but my husband loved sun tea. Leave it in the sun to brew and add ice. A visit from a child is a priceless blessing for you to enjoy.
My sons are all good cooks and I wish they lived closer! Enjoy your weekend!
PS I make sun tea sometimes and it's so mellow and good!
I love making cold brew iced tea. I use a tazo one with orange. I also make sun tea throughout the summer.
how lucky to have a son who comes and cooks your dinner!!
God bless always.
Have a good time and a lot of blessings, dear Terra! I never heard about sunflower-tea.. I think you have a wonderful son! Many greetings from Dori from the Bavarian Forest
Hi Terra: Love the dog comic, so true about the net, I drink tea if it is not caffeinated, I am a big coffee drinker but only decaf. Sop sorry you had to get a new washing machine but now you have another twenty years with the new one, I can only imagine what it cost to have a toilet replaced, labor is so expensive. Glad you replaced your electric board, safe from losing power.
Charlie was an amazing Man, he never raised his voice to anyone, he always listened to the other persons side, showed respect and let them rage on.
Have an amazing week.
Catherine
Forgot to tell you I wish I had children and they would come and make meals for us, you are so Blessed.
Catherine
Hi Terra! How nice that your son loves to cook for you sometimes! What a blessing! xo
I hear you on the home repair. We had our breaker replaced last spring and it was outrageous. (But at least they showed up. Half the time they never do!) Thanks for coming by.
Hello! It is so nice to meet you! Thank you for visiting my little space. I am happy to be your newest follower! Have a cozy week ahead.
How wonderful to have a son that loves you and wants to spend time with you and cares for your welfare. This is a true blessing.
