Nature walk near our house

This sign is at the beginning of the nature walk I took this week. Are these signs everywhere, or just here, I wonder.
This is the new bridge that is for walkers and bicyclists and it is a great short cut to two areas of town separated by a steep gulch.
I love oak trees, especially old ones with their dramatic curved limbs.
And here is an interpretive sign about the nature you can see on the walk.

That is a nice place to spend time and I plan to return often.

  2. Looks like an enjoyable place to walk and relax. Have not seen one with a fairy on it, but am seeing more "cleanup after our dog" signs. Really wish more people would clean up after their dogs.:(

  4. I've never seen a sign like that, but some people are pretty inconsiderate, so this tells them nicely! It's a beautiful place and I would love to walk there.

  9. What? No Poop Fairies! Shame, shame! LOL! That was really a cute sign and a nice way of asking people to clean up after their dogs.

That would be a lovely place to walk. Right now it is too hot and humid to walk here.

Have a great day today ~ FlowerLady

  10. I like the sign....some people just don't respect others with their dogs. I love the oaks as well, and in Texas they are very plentiful.

  17. What a clever way to remind folks to pick up after their pets. We have signs, but not this cute. We love to take walks and this looks like an interesting place to do so. Thank you for your visit today! ♥

  18. What a lovely walk and the sign is unusual. I've never seen one anything like it. Nothing like a walk in the fresh air to make you feel well is there.

  20. Terra, what a nice nature walk this is. The fairy sign was funny, but I guess it's also needed. Spending time in nature is such a wonderful thing. It brings me peace every time.

Hope you are enjoying these June days.

  21. I need a sign for my front and side yard area....we live on a corner lot and folks with dogs just love it.... I don't like finding dog poop when I check for it prior to mowing or weeding.... I sure wish I could catch whoever it is ....they would have dog poop on their screen door.....
