Oh, I love persimmons and haven't had one for years. They are best when you have your own tree and eat them at the perfect ripeness. Your flowers are such a beautiful Fall color! Hugs!
Oh! Your photo is just lovely. I tasted persimmons for the first time this year. They so beautiful and I have learned they taste as wonderful as they look. Dottie
Oh those colours are luscious! The first time I tasted persimmon, I thought I licked some antiperspirant .. it made my mouth SO dry. Then I learned that it was not ripe.. or the right kind.. or something. I have since enjoyed them very much.
Lovely colors. My husband loves persimmons but usually eats them pretty mushy. Never heard of them being eaten with lemon juice and whipped cream. Very interesting. :) Best wishes, Tammy
What a beautiful vignette. Colors are gorgeous. I love persimmons - but the first time I ate one it was not ripe and tasted awful. Made my mouth pucker!! But they are delicious when ripe. Will have to try the lemon and whipped cream.
Ah persimmons! Fruit combined with the beautiful tulips is a winning combination and the glowing colours of both make an attractive display with elements you can also eat and enjoy!
we had a persimmon tree on our little farm and I never ate one Did I tell you once that my youngest daughter name is Terra? spelled like yours usually it's spelled Tara or Tera
I visited Terra Haute Indian before I had her and liked that name
Thanks for having dropped by for a visit! I agree with your comments, and am glad to follow you back to enjoy this splendid post. Just what I needed on a cold day in Nova Scotia. And now, I'm going to go buy some tulips!
Hi Terra, thanks so much for visiting and leaving a comment on my blog.
It's a nice orange arrangement you have here! :) I haven't tasted persimmons, I'm so curious now how they taste and with lemon juice and whipped cream...
There is censorship in Kuwait though I must say I was surprised at some of what was available at the used bookstore. Not sure about Bibles. There must be someplace they can be bought as we have several churches in the city. :) Thanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend. Tammy
Absolutely stunning!
