My mom and I celebrate long ago

Yes, lo these many years ago, when I was 18 and a senior in high school, I was awarded a full tuition scholarship to the college of my choice and my mom and I were ecstatic. Hugging and jumping for joy. I was blessed with a great mom and a great dad too, and I dearly miss them.

  5. What a cute photo! I am still so very close to my mom, and so thankful that she's still here. We have been best friends for a very long time. And, as your photo shows, there's nothing quite like those times when something I do makes Mom happy!

    GOD BLESS!

  19. Lovely memories and photo of you and your dear Mother.
You did indeed both have much to celebrate!
Thanks for visiting me and as for the weather here in NZ - they have been having snow down then South Island which is really rare for this time of the year.
I live in the North Island where the weather is considerably warmer, in fact we have noticed people in swimming in the sea. I will wait until it gets warmer though.
    Happy new week
    hugs
