Violets

I love flowers and poems about flowers, and I hope you enjoy my post today about violets.
Do you have volunteer violets at your house? We have a lot of them, a carpet of violets along the alley where we keep our garbage and recycling bins.
I like it when the violets spread, and they don't need any care from me. Once in a while I water them.

Pretty violets and poem, Terra. At our last house, these grew so well in poor soil that nothing else thrived in. We always called them "Johnny Jump-Ups" because they so freely re-seeded themselves.

I have three types of violets that I have allowed to just roam at will. A white w/blue-purple face, the typical purple sweet violet and one that is a shade of deep periwinkle.

ReplyDeleteI love poems about flowers too. Violets are just so pretty and dainty looking. Those things can spread like crazy though but I do not mind. Have a lovely week and weekend.

That crocheted doll on the tree is amazing!!!! And these violets are so pretty. Yes, we have them in our yard growing wild...they are so sweet and I love them!!

I love violets too. They are so pretty. Thank you for your comment on my fairy. The last picture of the trees I didn't take. I saw it on a friend's blog, and she said I could use it cause it went perfect with the quote. Have a lovely day. I can smell the violets from here.
