Yellow tree has bouquets for flowers

My neighbor has two of these fantastic trees, one about 15 feet tall and you can tell they like it because there is a younger one about 10 feet tall, which I imagine they planted a few years later. I remembered to bring my camera with me on a walk so I can share with you. I wonder what kind of tree this is; the leaves look rather like feathery ferns. A friend on Facebook answered this question for me, it is a yellow flowered jacaranda.

  1. Beautiful. I need to get some pictures of our garden at it's full glory tomorrow. Just in case you did not get the update, I' have had to change my url on because of an issue with Google Domains. I am now at richlyretired.blogspot.com

  9. Yellow flowers are so cheerful. We had the purple blue variety of jacaranda trees on our street in Los Angeles.

  12. You so often comment on my posts and so I have at last come over to read you. I didn't realise that you had lost your husband too. I am sorry about that. Firsts are hard as you say. My farmer's birthday was so shortly after he died that I didn't have time to notice it. Our wedding anniversary was harder. I shall put you on my sidebar.

  13. It's very pretty; reminds me of a tree I saw in South Lake Tahoe. The ones we saw also were very fragrant. I do miss all the floral trees in Northern Ca. Hope you have a great evening.
