Jesus Calling, a pink cover contains wisdom

I recently bought this delightful book of devotionals with one devotional for each day. The edition I bought has the look and feel of pink leather, yet it is imitation leather. The bookstore had this edition and a paperback. This pink edition is a pleasure to hold and read which is why I chose it. The author is Sarah Young.

The devotional for September one says in part "Seek Me in good times; seek Me in hard times. You will find Me watching over you all the time."
Recommended Scripture for this day: Deuteronomy 4:29, Hebrews 10:23 and Psalm 145:20.

    The book looks so pretty and I know it's full of many great
    quotes to cheer one for the day. I'm glad you shared this, I will look

    I received this devotional from a sweet friend, two months after my dear husband went to be with Jesus, but it has a different cover. I am reading it for the 2nd or 3rd time now. It has been a real blessing in my life. Another friend gave me Jesus Today also by Sarah Young, another good devotional.

    How wonderful to find such a precious book!! I have several devotionals and alternate reading them year by year. I have not seen on elike yours but I hope to find one someday.

    Oh may, i love Christian blogs, i'm excited about my devotionals series for my blog as well.

    Devotional books are essesntial for us really as it is our everyday guide. Having this personalized devo book of yours is really personal. For me, i have my own and customized devo notebook, i hope i could share it with you guys sometime! :)

    I gave it to my mom when my dad died. She found it so comforting. I like the ones that print out all the verses she uses.

    It's my favorite. I love the pink. Of course, I do! I gave all of my children one two years ago. Theirs were leather bound. I've given away two that I bought for myself that I felt may help someone else. The one I have now is small and not nearly as comfortable in your hand.
