Our flowers that bloom at Christmas

Some of our favorite flowers that bloom at Christmas time.
The top photo is an Amaryllis we have enjoyed for several years and the 2nd photo is a Cyclamen that lives on our kitchen window sill.
Below is a red Amaryllis of ours close up.

  3. Beautiful! I used to have a pink-white Amaryllis when I was a teenager. It was huge and beautiful and I can still picture it very clearly in my mind, sitting on the windowsill of my room at the old house where we used to live until 1988.

  20. These are so pretty! I love all the red. I tend to avoid houseplants because I don't the right light to keep them happy but was given a Christmas cactus and it's thriving. Yay!

  21. Hi Terra,
Oh..Amarillos at Christmas time are just one of my favorites, any of them, but the pure red are just
so rich looking. Your pics are lovely.......your tree was really pretty too, and what a neat thing
that proposal was during the nativity scene. What a great idea,
she will never forget that, I am sure........nor will probably any that got to experience it with them.

Have a Blessed New Year hon,
    Nellie
