Writers' luncheon fun

Our Christian Writers' Luncheon Group met at Carol's new home and enjoyed our brown bag lunches on her deck. These ladies are talented and generous and we always have fun at our luncheons.


Seven of us attended on this beautiful day in this country setting. We have about 12 members but of course rarely can all 12 get together because of travel and family events. Most of these gals have literary agents, many have numerous books published, some are taking their first steps in the writing world, and we write with a love of Jesus in our hearts. And as you can probably tell from the third photo, one of us is expecting her first baby, how exciting is that!

    How lovely to get together with sisters in Christ on an activity which you all love. It looks like a superb day there too for a luncheon on the deck. Sadly most of our sunshine is gone but we had two glorious days just passed. In a few days we will have some more sunshine. I'm savouring these days as they'll be few and far between until Spring.

    I can only imagine what a great day it was.. Yes! and the setting was perfect. I hope you have many more such days.Can you give any advice about a good, not too expensive self publisher. The one I had last time was good, BUT, of so expensive.

    I so enjoyed my writers group in Chambersburg, PA. As I will be moving next week, my prayer is that God will lead me to a Christian writers group, like yours, in our new location. It is such a blessing to get together with kindred spirits!
