When I was a child my uncle gave me some old editions of books written by Emerson and I have admired his writing and his character ever since. Emerson lived from 1803 to 1882.

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful house surrounded by nature to inspire him. I love to see the yesteryear era...to dream of the lives that lived in the older houses, and to feel a part of who they may have been.. Just loved this.
ReplyDeleteGreat fan of Emerson. One of my favorite excursions with my parents was a trip to Concord. We didn't see Emerson's house, but we went to Walden Pond and to the Alcott House.
