Quiet Christmas Moments

-201 : a very sir tom christmas

This is a busy season, duh!
That is why I savor quiet moments interspersed among the gift buying, wrapping, mailing, decorating and other bustling about.
Things I savor include:
A good book, like ones by Jan Karon.
Tea or coffee. Constant Comment tea has a clove Christmasy scent.
Keep a roll of quarters in your car so your kids can put quarters in the Salvation Army kettles.
Enjoy eating a candy cane.
Enjoy the moment like this guinea pig looks like it is doing.

  5. Instead of a list of things to do, you have given us a list of things that make the season bright. Thank you for this.
I too love the idea of keeping a roll of quarters handy for special kettles. Very nice idea.
I will slow down and try to enjoy the holiday more.

  12. We should all take time out of this hustle and bustle time to reflect. Why don't we?! Ok, today I clean house and stay away from Christmas trees! LOL

  15. I just love to soak in every ounce of Christmas I can.

I crammed in all my decorating, shoppin', candy makin', card mailin' and wrappin' last week so I could really enjoy the season.

God bless ya and have a most beautiful day sweetie!

Enjoy your blessings my friend :o)

You should link this to a little Christmas meme on Fridays at Blue Skies.

  19. Oh I'm happy to say that I do all those tips, except one. I don't often eat a candy cane. Do caramels count? I enjoyed some holiday peppermint tea today and really enjoyed it.
