Bird houses with hearts

I received a Christmas gift two days ago, sent to me by a relative. She was unhappy that the packages arrived late, but I told her that it is like celebrating Christmas again.
Her gift selection was just right for us: two bird houses with hearts on them. I put the larger one in the garden next to the bird bath and hung the smaller one under the eaves of our house.
I hope a little bird family discovers the free apartment under the eaves and moves in.
The bird houses are from Jackson and Perkins, and they are so cute, I think.

  16. Hi Terra. It's been ages since I've visited. Love your sweet birdhouses, especially the one in the garden. I just need to get my act in gear and find someplace to store my excess things. We don't have a basement in this house. The garage is overflowing and I have boxes everywhere, it seems. LOL Hope you are enjoying nicer weather than we are. It's cold, snowy, and my mood needs an uplift. Can hardly wait for the springtime. ~ Sue

  18. Thank you for the lovely comment.
I think the birdhouses are so cute. I received a little birdhouse made like a sweet barn and a very grand bird feeder from son for Christmas.
I am thrilled! The birds have found the feeder but no one has moved into the barn.

  25. Hi Terra - what a lovely gift! I love birdhouses. We have so many around the yard and the birdies do love them!

You asked about our Baby, if she was all white except for the black on her head. No, she actually has lots of patchy black on her back. I just blogged about her first experience with snow, and the pictures show off her black and white pattern.

Have fun watching the birds!... Donna
