Isn't this lion regal? Is he a bit sad too?
I love lions, both the wild lions in Africa and the lion Aslan from the Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis.The African Wildlife Foundation is a great group that protects these noble animals. I am a member and the group can be found at www.awf.org
He does look sad. Perhaps he just need to roam around the jungle more. Reminds me of the lion in Madagascar.

Lions are so majestic. they are always one of the first animals that I go to see at the zoo. But, I must admit that I think Aslan is my favorite lion :-)
