Funny stuff: Adopting Dogs to Lost in a Maze to the Lennon Sisters

Some funny photos. Some clever. Some cute puppies.

I adopted Bounce from a shelter. He was so cute right from day one. He is a teenager now, age 13.

Above is a photo of the tile stairs of a restaurant I like. In fact I was there with two friends who treated me to a birthday lunch recently.

Above is a photo I took before I threw these items out. Who is old enough to know what these are? I am 80 so yes I know.

I've not been a big fan of the Lennon Sisters but I saw this photo of them and the third one from the left could be my twin! At about age 10. I think the resemblance is amazing. Have a great week!

  4. All our cats came not from a shelter, but from outside... some ferals, some just showed up. The tile on those stairs would give me a migraine... (ha!)
And as for those floppy disks, etc. I will be 80 in July... and yes, I know what those things are... have quite a few of them that I don't want to throw out until I find out what's on them. Recently my son gave me something that will read them.

  10. I recently saw a joke where a teenager was shown one of the floppy disks and she said, "How cool. Someone 3-D printed the "Save" icon!" Boy I feel old.
    Love the corn maze meme.
    Blessings and hugs,
    Betsy

  11. I'm getting rid of CDs and all sorts of dated things that will never be used again! Taking a good sized bag to the Goodwill every Tuesday! Of course, I usually go in and purchase another bag full!

  12. ...and then you also know the good old records. We still have some and a record player – it's wonderful to play them :-)))
This staircase is a real eye-catcher – I wish you many wonderful opportunities to use it.
    Best wishes, Viola

  13. Hi Terra - love the maze one ... at least there'd be corn to eat - drink ... nothing forthcoming I suspect. The stairs are fun ... so pleased you had that wonderful lunch with friends - cheers Hilary

  15. Those tiles would send my head into a spin and I would probably end up in a heap at the bottom of the stairs.
We have a few of those discs but not many left now. Thank you for sharing the memories x
