My Christmas gift huge planter

This is my first spring enjoying my new planter. It is loaded with vegetables and strawberries, just the new plants. We did a lot of planting on Saturday April 16. Doesn't the cilantro in the front look happy? All the plants like their new home.
Above is our oldest son building the planter from the kit he bought me. He is nailing in metal grids to prevent gophers from tunneling in and we laid weed mat under the whole planter to prevent weeds.

Above is the box it came in from Greene's Fence Company, three tiered cedar planter. I could NOT have assembled this myself. I have no talent in that direction, ha ha.

Great idea, things are made so much easier today coming in a kit. I bet your son knew he would have to put it together.

How nice that you have help. We have four raised beds and the winter played havoc with them this year. We fixed them, but it was not an easy task.

Hi, Loved your garden boxes; our current yard isn't quite big enough for a garden. My two daughters have huge gardens and we often will plant things in theirs. I love cilantro and basil too. What a thoughtful gift from your son! You are blessed with wonderful weather year round. Here we can't plant until mid-late May, due to frost and snow. I do miss Ca. weather, but that is about all-except for some of the trees.
Have a great week.

This is just the best gift! So neat! I love that he's building it for you.

Hope you have been well. I am still MIA for a little longer from blogging, but I do plan to return. We are still renovating, and it has truly been something.

Sending hugs to you and all good wishes for a Happy Mother's Day!
