My mom, the best mom in the whole world

Celebrating the best mom in the whole world. Yes, my mom. She died so young, at age 54, and was very supportive of me in everything I wanted to do.

I may have posted these photos before but they sure show the happiness we shared, hugging in our yard.
And can I tell you I am close to having a pity party here right now, cuz I called our sons and cancelled the Sunday Mothers Day get together at our house. I am sick, for a week now. I thought it was allergies, now I am wondering if it is a cold. So boo hoo for me!
How many days can I take Claritin? It had no insert in the package. One friend says she takes one a day, all year!
During this sick down time I wrote 2,000 words in the children's book I am writing, so that makes me happy. Even in my pity party.

appy Mother's Day Terra....
The photos of you and your dear Mother are priceless... I can see the love and joy... I know you carry her in your heart always, and I am sure she is smiling down on you.
As for the Clariton, call the pharmacist.. He will be able to advise you.
Thank you for visiting and kind words.
blessings,
Penny

What is the subject of your children't book? Are you illustrating it too.

I do hope you feel better soon. If it will make you feel better, you should know that I take an Allegra everyday of the year!

So sorry that your sick. Everyone seems to have the same thing. Just google with medication you are taking or call the drug store and they can tell you so you take the right dosage and get over it.
Wishing you a very Happy Mothers Day.
Take care of yourself.

Your Mom was far too young. I'm sorry you lost her so early.
You can take Claritin daily on a routine basis. Several of my patients have done so for years. I know allergies are really bad this year. I hope you feel better soon and have a nice Mother's Day.

Good for you!! Accomplishing something even in your misery! We take Claritin every morning and Benadryl every night! AND we STILL have problems with allergies! Of course, we live in TEXAS!

Terra,

I didn't know you lost your mother when she and you were both so very young. That makes me sad. I've never seen these pictures and they are so great, you both look so happy and fun. I hope the good memories stay forever in your heart.

Love to you and take care of yourself. Happy Mother's Day.

Oh dear, get well soon Terra. I take my allergy tablets all through the summer.

Your mum did die young, didn't she. How sad. My mum died at 69, which is also quite young these days

We have our memories. Your sons will come when you are better. You can look forward to that.

So sorry you are under-the-weather this Mother's Day. I hope you feel MUCH BETTER soon. A blessed day to you anyway! Susan

Oh she adored you! You're a bit squirmy, which is why I warn children and grands in advance that I'll be requiring hugs and kisses. So sorry that you are under the weather today. The good news is that Mother's Day can be whenever you need it! Wish I knew anything about Claritan. I do know about echinacea.

I hope you feel better soon - maybe have an after Mothers Day when you feel better? Great shot of you and your mother, so nice to have captured that moment.

I think I am also starting with colds but I hope not! I've started taking meds as a precaution as it's difficult to be sick when there's a lot of traveling to do.

I wish you will get better soon Terra! Happy mother's day. *hug*

Enjoy your pity party but I hope your ailments are on their way out, all the same. Indulging oneself is nice at times, but too much of a good thing gets boring.

I hope your mother’s day parade will only have been postponed, not cancelled.

Are you sure it's not a sinus infection. This has been a bad spring for allergies. I use floanse (spelling) nose spray in the mornings and take a generic Zertic at supper time that's good for 24 hours.

Very precious photos of you and your Mother. I'm 78 and this year was the first year my Mother wasn't around to celebrate with us. She was 91 and died last May 2014 from a car accident. Yes, she was only 13 when I arrived. I told her in this day and age, my Dad could have been arrested since he was 18.

Happy Belated Mother's Day

I'm sooooo sorry you had to cancel your MD party! That is heart-breaking. I hate it when illness messes up all our well-laid plans. I hope you get all better fast and maybe you can set up a replacement party. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Terra,

Praying that by now hopefully you feel better. Have you tried Flonase along with Claritin? Our doctor suggested it in combination with the Claritin. You can also get it at the local drug store without a prescription now.

So sad to hear that your mother died so young. My sister who was 51 died a few weeks ago and her children are so missing her much and I too. But we just have to make the best of life that God has given us!
Congrats to your writing!

Aww... so sweet. And you are writing a children's book? That's wonderful. Our oldest daughter taught secondary school English and went back to Vermont College of Fine Arts and got an MFA in creative writing for Juveniles. Such a talent you both have. There is nothing better than a good children's book. Even for us Adults.
