My Happy List Part One

On June 11 Lavender Dreamer posted her Happy List, and I like the idea. See her list here
http://lavenderdreamstoo.blogspot.com/2013/06/my-happy-listwhile-i-catch-my-breath.html
Of course, my list is potentially so long I could do a happy list for very many posts, ha ha, so that's why I call this part one.

FLOWERS
You could probably guess that any pretty flower is on my list, and also any fragrant flower. The flowers in the vase are Canterbury Bells I grew. They typically have flowers the second year so we learn patience as we wait. This blue color is my favorite, they also come in white and pale pink.

VEGGIES
Delicious veggies that grow in my garden.

BOOKS
Any of thousands of books and authors. I recently bought and read Rhys Bowen's "Her Royal Spyness" which has an upbeat heroine, Georgie, 34th in line to the British throne.

HORSES
Horses. They are so graceful and often are so kind. The book "Horse Heaven" conveys a horse's thoughts quite well, I think.

Let me know if you decide to post a Happy List so I will be sure to visit and read it.

Like yours, my "happy list" would be very, very long - there really is so much that makes me happy and grateful.
The flowers are beautiful! I don't think I've ever seen them over here.

I'm with you on all of it but horses. I've never been much for horses, though I hold nothing against them.

Everyone should - I might if I find time to think in a short list (always so difficult for me to make anything, something short and brief ahahah) - make one of this before entering the Summer Vacationing and running around. So you could return and add more things and be so happy and blessed for keep adding to it.
Mine would start with your items too - I really like to wait and witness the Earth fruits (flowers, real fruits...) in my garden.
Thank you for the inspiration. And sorry for the long comment (told you ;)).
Yours,
Teresa

One of my other sweet blog friends, Ricki Jill, does a Happy List too on her blog, and I really love to read them.

Your flowers are soooo pretty, Terra. They look like a beautiful purple color in the picture. Flowers are magic, aren't they?

Let me know when you do your Happy List again. They are fun to read.

Love,
~Sheri

Love your happy list! I like everything on your list : )

I will agree with 3 of your 4. I like to look at horses but don't ride them or take care of one. Books and food would probably be at the top of my list.

I sort of do a happy list as every morning I write 10 things I am grateful for and most of those make me very happy!
I'll have to remember the Canterbury Bells when I get to my new digs so I can plant some. Gorgeous!
Horses....I've had a long, long love affair with them for sure!

I'm so late to this that I'm probably just ahead of part two. I would very likely put two of the four on my happy list, flowers and books. I love veggies too, but aside from broccoli, they don't actually make me happy. Horses are OK, but only from a distance.

This is a cute idea for a post and a great booster for an outlook on life.
