Two garden vignettes, lily and succulents

Yes friends, this is an experiment to see if I can repost an older post!
Two patio scenes, the top one is of a fiery orange red lily given to me by a friend in 2009 and this lily is a very happy and faithful bloomer. The second photo shows a little scene with quite a few dainty succulents in a pot, one is blooming with lavender flowers, bless its heart.
The subtle colors of succulents are so pretty I bought several and put them in one pot recently. Actually the one that has flowers I already had in a huge pot, so I broke off a piece and put it in this container, but I bought the others. As you may know you can break off a piece of succulent and put it in dirt and it will usually thrive and grow.
And yes, that is my lavender color chair from my previous post. I like the effect of the new paint job, and a fellow blogger inspired me to paint the chair. I linked to her in the previous post.
Happy gardening, painting, crafting and most of all, no matter your passion, happy June.

Great photos ... our lilies still have a way to go before gifting us with their gorgeous colour ... so it's wonderful to see yours. Love the creative creation in the pot ... thank you for the inspiration..hugs and blessings, C. (HHL)

Lovely! I'm contemplating getting some succulents for one spot in my neck of the woods. But first I have to dig out all the mint!

My lilies are just budding right now. Had some like yours on the farm many years ago. Wonderful. That pot looks good in your newly painted chair. Gumdrop is a great color!

Beautiful flowers and the lavender chairs enhance their appearance. I will possibly be making some chairs yellow for our yard - - in the future.

I love the word dainty, and it certainly fits here--what beautiful flowers. It is still raining and feeling like February here. The flowers are blooming in spite of teh chill.

Very lovely to the eye. I have several succulent pots, and love the different colors and textures. I don't have any blooming right now.

Hi Terra! I enjoyed my visit here today and catching up on your posts. Your chairs came out beautifully, and to tell you the truth, I wouldn't have thought about wearing goggles but now I will. Your flowers are so pretty. I can't usually put things out before Father's Day around here due to the chance of freezing.

Thanks so much for stopping by to see me earlier this week. I hope that your weekend is wonderful.

Very nice indeed - I'm in need of training as far as containers - and succulents - but I'm having fun muddling around with mine!

Terra,
The orange lily is beautiful. You are the second blog friend who has shown an orange red lily. I've only seen the white lily, so you can imagine what a delight it was to see the pretty orange color. This flower is a beauty.

Love,
~Sheri

Wow, what a stunning Lily!!! LOVE it!

Our succulents were doing so well for three years, but the torrential rains killed some of them this summer....it makes me sad.

But yours look great!
