Book give away funny senior moments

I admit it, I am a woman "of a certain age", and this book made me laugh at funny senior moments O'Connor includes in it. Not that I personally have had  any senior moments, ha ha.
I am giving away a copy of this book to one person who comments, and I use random.org to choose the winner. The copy I am giving away is a print copy.
Here is my review of this book:
A Laugh a Day
"365 Senior Moments You’d Rather Forget" by Karen O’Connor
You are sure to find some giggle worthy moments recounted in this book, and I suggest it as a gift for your friends and relatives who are of “a certain age” and who have a sense of humor about aging.
Here are a few moments O’Connor shares in the book:
“Depositing your to-do list in the ATM slot instead of a check.”
“Leaving your house key in the front door and then going to sleep feeling totally secure.”
Or this one “Writing a reminder note and then forgetting to read it.” Ha ha, this one could happen to me.
The book is only five inches tall and four inches across, a handy size for carrying in a purse to read while waiting for an appointment or for mailing to some lucky person.

So leave a comment for a chance to win.
I will announce the winner on Oct. 2.
Here's a senior moment that happened to my friend years ago, that still makes me laugh. She was 80 at the time, and returned home from grocery shopping, put her groceries away and went on with her day. But she soon realized she could NOT find her car and house keys.
She searched high and low and no keys. Eventually she found her keys when she opened her freezer to take out food for dinner. She put the keys in the freezer, poor darling, and was happy to find them!
Chance for you to win, just leave a comment.

Hi there. Oh, this sounds like just the sort of book I would enjoy. I seem to be having more and more senior moments these days, which I find quite worrying! The latest was typing in my credit card number to my burglar alarm - the numbers are completely different. Eeeek!!

Sounds like the stuff I did when I was pregnant! Like putting the Cheerios box in the fridge and the gallon of milk in the cupboard.

Is this open to Canada? If so I'd love to enter. This book would make a wonderful gift book!

Yes Glogirl, and other friends around the world, you are eligible to enter and I will mail the book to the winner anywhere.

Oh My Goodness!!
I've been having 'Senior moments', from the time I started having my children.
I think scientifically, that's when the brain cells start to die off **giggle**!
I once put a ham to bed!!
Must have had it in my hand, when I went to lay my purse on the bed.
Sheesh!

Nice to know that there are other folk out there in the world, that can help us see the humor in these 'senior moments'!

warm wishes..
K.

Hello:
This sounds to be great fun. Sadly, the Hungarian postal service is exceedingly unreliable where deliveries are concerned, so please do not include us in the draw.

What a fun give away! The older I get, the more the moments are stacking up. What's really a riot, is when my husband and I are having the same moment, and we're both totally confused!

Hi there, What a fun giveaway. When we are young, we never think we'll get like this but we do-sooner than we'd like and more often than I'd like.
Have a great weekend.

Too close to HOME FOR ME> Yikes.

Yes, you have to go to Cambria for the festival. It is really a sight.

Yes, my new little children's book is packaged inside a biodegradable, window-mount feeder so kids can get an up close view of backyard birds.

Sending love to you,

Oh my, yes, I must join for a chance to win this listing of things that I most certainly, beyond a shadow of a doubt, never never do (fingers are crossed behind back!) That is my story and I am sticking to it!!

I am sure glad you decided to stop by for a visit at my humble abode today. Otherwise, I would not have found you. Denise, at Shortybear's Place and I have been conversing back and forth for a couple of years and I've followed her through all her tribulations and found out the spirit within her soul is a true inspiration to us all who are 'lucky' enough to know her.

As for your friend's senior moment. I've done things like that very similar and try to tell everyone is just HALFheimerz.

Anyway, add me to you giveaway list, I'd love to win the book and get a few laughs from reading it!!!

Good luck to everyone.

ps....I forgot to tell you, I'm following you now, also!

I'm afraid I'm too late to enter. But that's nice of you to give away a copy. Yes, Senior moments, too many to mention. LOL

Thanks for stopping by my blog, for some reason, since I am on Facebook, I don't seem to get around to other blogs like I use to, also don't post something everyday. With winter coming, I may get better at it, since I won't be able to be outside as much.
