I Like Bees

When I hear bees humming in our garden, I smile, because I know they are working pollinating flowers, and making honey too.

I think they are very interesting...Many people are afraid of them, but we would sure be in bad shape without em'.

I like bees too as long as they go about their business and leave me alone! I just got a jar of Wildflower honey and is it ever good! Expensive but good. Thank you for your visit and I hope you have a lovely week ahead, Terra.

Blessings,
Sandi

Our Vitex bushes really attract the bees. I love your photo and the quote! Have a good week.

I love the sound of the bees while they work. I got stung last week because I was leaning over a peony blossom trying to cut one that had fallen over. Darn it hurt. I will be a lot more careful from now on : )

They are a marvelous little creature until they decide you are a target and I don't like getting stung.

When I was young, I got stung by a bee, and got a very bad reaction from it. Now, I stay away from the bees when they are around, although they are good for the flowers, and flowers I adore. What a sweet poem.

I love bees too. They are the keeper's of my garden and I always invite them in.
Their buzzing is one of the wonderful sounds of summer.

I like yellow jackets from distance. That's about where it starts and stops with me.

I love that little poem, though!

I love this quote, and the amazing bee photo!!! When I hear buzzing, I quite often run!!! Or in my case, hobble and limp away!

Great bee quote - I may need to borrow that for some of my bee shots this summer - I have some that ate the vision of these poetic words!

Joy!

My garden is full of bees. Most people are ignorant about what gentle creatures they are. Istanbul is one of my favorite cities!! It's such a real and vibrant place. The taxi drivers are a bit crazy, though, but that was part of the fun.

love the picture and the quote - so very true!
Have a blessed weekend,

Great picture; what would we do without the constant work of bees. "They gave him ... of a honeycomb", Luke 23: 42.
