Gardeners and Imagination

I found this photo of a charming combination of flowers and art on Flickr. Do you love whimsy and a bit of art in your garden? I know I do; it adds a spark of fun when imagination runs loose in a garden.

We love whimsy and art in our garden. It's fun to see those unexpected things as you wander!

Very good quote.

Our garden is for practical purposes- the vegetables.

Our roses etc provide beauty in the winter.

I love things like that in a garden and some day maybe mine will have some. Hugs

Dear Terra, "If there is no vision, the people perish". Increasingly, I fear, a total lack of imagination is in evidence everywhere, and not only in the garden. You are so right.

I totally agree and I love that picture you posted.

Great quote also.

I have an old ceramic frog, a bit weathered but still guardian of my pond.

This is cute. We don't have too much whimsey in our garden, but we do try for interesting, like interesting (sort of mushroom looking) path lights.

You bet your sweet bippie I do. I adore it when a visitor burst out in laughter when spottin' an unexpected item amongst the flowers.

God bless ya and have a glorious day!!!

Hello, dear Terra,
Yes, I do love art and whimsy in the garden. I actually "plant" cups and saucers and plates in mine!! This is a lovely garden you have shown us. I think our gardens speak of our individual personalities. I hope you have the best of weeks, my friend. Love and hugs~ Vicki

I do love 'creative' gardening. I love the blue bottles with the pink flowers....

One of the fun things about whimsical gardens is that you never know what to expect around the corner :-)

I love the quote and the picture too. I definitely think you need to have some imagination and fun in the garden. It's what makes each garden different and personal.

Hi Terra. I am nuts about garden decor of all kinds. My problem is that I like too many styles of things LOL!

That's a great picture. I'd love to have some whimsy in my garden but I just don't have the room for anything other than the veggies. If I had more space though I sure would!
