Do you know your fairy name?

I visited a gorgeous garden blog yesterday, Faire Garden, fairegarden.blogspot.com and they had a link to a place where you can get your "fairy name" for free.

For fun I scooted over to the link, at www.emmadavies.net/fairy/default.aspx and typed in my "human name" and immediately learned my fairy name.

Ta da! My fairy name is Buttercup Elffrost.

"She is a cheerful sprite. She lives in clover fields where fairy rings grow. She is only seen during the first snow of winter. She wears bright clover green She has delicate wings like cicadas."

It doesn't snow where I live, in California, thus explaining why I haven't seen her.
I am so glad she is a cheerful sprite and wears bright clover green.

If you wander over to the link and are inspired to share your name with us here, please do.

Hi, Terra - I saw your post at Lindenville Cafe, so I came over to visit you. I just love faeries, in fact, I am working on a novel involving them. So I found my faery name, which is anything but nice-sounding: Thorn Goblinglitter! Isn't that awful! But apparently she "brings riches and wealth, and can only be seen in the light of a shooting star"! Thanks for sharing this fun activity! God bless you!

Hi Cami,
I love that part "seen in the light of a shooting star."
Your novel involving fairies sounds intriguing.
Everyone, I found lindenvillecafe.blogspot.com
written by 9 contributors including Cami to be a lovely site full of Christian insights.

Hello from LT. In cyberworld, I'm known as CMBohn, but apparently, my fairy name is Thorn Icefilter. I am a relentess bringer of justice to the oppressed. Or something like that.

Terra, my name sounds a bit more like something that might cause irritation than a pleasure.

Your fairy is called Thorn Goblinfly
She is a bringer of riches and wealth.
She lives in brambles and blackberry bushes.
She is only seen at midday under a quiet, cloudless sky.
She wears purple and green like berries and leaves. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.

But if that part about bringing wealth and riches is true then I can't be all bad...Cathy Messecar

My fairy is called Hex Goblinweb
She is a bringer of riches and wealth.
She lives in places hexed and tainted by black magic.
She is only seen in the mist of an early morning.
She wears black feathers and rose petals. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.

P.S. You've been "tagged"- see my post on my blog for details :)
